Hi to all!  Finally decided to get into bench/table after shooting offhand (flint and percussion) at local club shoots for some time and now old age and a failed back/eye sight/other things are forcing me to sit down and enjoy shooting two guns I am restoring.  One is a side lock back action 40 cal with redfield olympic front and rear the old fellow I received the gun from (passed) used for some kind of target shooting and the other is a hopkins & allen under hammer (no sights yet), 45 caliber.  Just now starting to follow this wonderful sight and look forward to being involved.  Thanks,  Homer

Re: New Member

Welcome to our site. Homer, always glad to have new people. Sounds like you may have been shooting for many years. Glad to see you're staying with the game. If there's anything we can do to help you along. Don't be afraid to ask. And if you have any words of wisdom for us. Be sure to share them we tried to cover most styles of smoke pole shooting , so you should be able to find a topic that interests you. If you don't, don't be afraid to start a new topic. At  any rate wonderful to have you aboard, will be talking to you more later. Robin

Three things you must remember while target shooting. (1) Align the sights carefully. (2) Squeeze the trigger. (3) Say how did it get over there. http://prwarner.wix.com/mlts-masters
