Globe sight?

I'm thinking of installing my MVA #111 front globe for table use. Are globes acceptable? Are there limitations on what kind of inserts can be used?

Which brings to mind another question. Are variable rear apertures allowed? Like this Hadley:

Re: Globe sight?

We do allow shooters to you globe sites. However the insert must emulate a post pin blade or Barleycorn to this point we have allowed adjustable rear aperture once again no adjustment may made after the start of competition. As we make the final tweaks on the rules for friendship the adjustable aperture may go by the wayside.

Three things you must remember while target shooting. (1) Align the sights carefully. (2) Squeeze the trigger. (3) Say how did it get over there. http://prwarner.wix.com/mlts-masters
