    Great Soddy chunk guns

    Over at American long rifles under antique gun collecting, there are some great pictures of several Soddy chunk guns. If anyone is interested.

    Saw that this morning. Soddys are one of my favorite gunmaking schools.

    I agree, the best part to me the simple design, pretty much designed to target rifles. I wonder about the deep curved buttplates though, Most think a flat butt plate is best.
