Any advantage using a musket cap?

With the shortage of #11 caps, would there be any quicker ignition with a musket cap? Musket nipples are available in many thread size. Thanks!

I can't see much difference. If it makes the powder fire it will be okay.
I've only tried musket caps on a inline I won at a firearms instructor meeting!
