7th Annual Wayne Jenkins Memorial Table Shoot - 6/19/2021

Had a very nice turnout for our annual shoot. 12 shooters from Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky showed up for a nice day overall. weather went from cloudy to sunny, got a little humid as the day progressed but there was no rain.

Scores ranged from 2.454" to 9.567" with the top 5 being:
1. Bobby Grimm      2.454"
2. Bill Disbro           2.819"
3. Dave Krumme     3.580"
4. Sterling Martin    5.136"
5. Walt Rybka        5.152"

Best X just barely went to Don Ross with a 0.026". Bill Disbro and Bobby Grimm each had a 0.027" target all ready but on the 10th and final shot Don managed to shoot a 0.026 for the best X of the day.

We had one new shooter and hope he will return to shoot with us again.

Thanks to Dennis Winburn, John Jayne, randy Henderson and Barb Disbro for taking care of the sign in, scoring, ,
etc. and making the shoot happen. and to John for his always delicious brownies.

After the prize money was paid out and targets paid for, we will be able to send $87 to the DAV in Salyersville as a contribution in Wayne's name.

Thanks to all the shooters who came out to support the event.

Thanks Carl for the scores.
Looks like the forum traffic has taken a hit but you guys are still shooting some. I wish I could get a few more people interested in table shooting around here.

You remember the my friend(Red Horton)that helped me at the club and fried the fish? He hung around and came back on Sunday for awhile.
He went to a side by side shoot in Texas about 6 weeks ago and got sick the night he got there. They took him to ER and then his boy went and brought him home. 10 days later he died from advanced lung cancer. Make everyday count.

Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

Three things you must remember while target shooting. (1) Align the sights carefully. (2) Squeeze the trigger. (3) Say how did it get over there. http://prwarner.wix.com/mlts-masters
