We had a 7 shooters show up Saturday, one was brand new to table shooting.
The weather was warm(low 80's) and sunny with little or no breeze. It did get hot and humid by the time we were done.
Strings went from 3.079" to 13.501".
Top 3 were:
1. Carl King 3.079"
2. Archie Hillard 3.279"
3. Sterling Martin 4.811"
Danny Updike shot the best X - 0.032"
We had cornbread and brown beans with brownies for desert to enjoy while they added up the scores.Had a computer glitch so they had to do it all the old fashioned way, paper and pencil.
Thanks to Dennis Winburn and John Jayne for taking care of the shoot, the scoring, the payout and the food.
Thanks to all of the shooters that came, it was a good shoot.
FYI: Bobby Grim usually shoots with us but heard he went to Indiana for their State Table Shoot Championship at Coon's Farm Saturday. They had 14 shooters and Bobby finished 1st with a 2.2??" string. Shot a 0.043" in the 10th match for the best X of the day. Congratulations Bobby !!!
Bill Disbro was a close second with a 2.4??" string.

Thanks, John.
It was a good shoot as always over at Morehead. Great little group of tough competitors who just love to shoot.
The Bryan Station group has a table shoot this Saturday down at Wilmore, KY and there is a table shoot on August 11 up at Xenia, OH so things are good over here for table shooters.
