Pearl Harbor Day.

They woke up a sleeping giant that morning!
Remember the one's that were lost and "THANKS" to the ones that have served and the ones still serving!
My father-in-law remembers! He was telling me last Wednesday that he and 3 of his buddies had been rabbit hunting and each got their limit. As they came into the house to tell of their success, they were schussed and told to be quiet! His family was huddled around the radio listening to the news of Pearl Harbor. He and  his buddies then joined the Marines the next week. He will 96 the 22nd of this month.

I'm sure that everyone is having winter weather. We missed a good snow yesterday. It went to the north of us. Sixty miles north there was 3" and ours melted as soon as it hit the ground. It's supposed to be 30º today then 32º tomorrow and then warming to the mid 40º for the next 6 days. Bring on April and black powder smoke!!

Stay warm ….. Big John

Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

Re: Pearl Harbor Day.

I was sitting in the Leigon hall in Oberlen Kansas when I realised what the date was. The day my dad ask my mother to marry him. Married on Feb 14 1942, a week later Dad left for 44 months.

Three things you must remember while target shooting. (1) Align the sights carefully. (2) Squeeze the trigger. (3) Say how did it get over there. http://prwarner.wix.com/mlts-masters
