Frazier 'Matchmate' #45

It was built for me in 1979. I really hate to sell it, but I don't shoot much anymore and I would rather see someone else have it and use it as I know they are hard to come by. It's a .50 cal. with Douglas XX barrel, Anschutz trigger, Redfield sights (no inserts, but the front insert is a crosshair), Merit disc, 4 oz lead weights, an aluminum muzzle rest that was made for me by Jack Clove in California, adjustable hook buttplate, stainless ball starter, nipple wrench, Caplex case (foam is gone and I have the rifle wrapped in a small blanket). The case has scuff marks, but that's what they're for. I also have the correspondence letters from Clark. It took 2 years to get the rifle. On the left side of the grip are some small nicks that I think one of my cats did and this was in the past couple years. Some wood polish helped with that. The stock is crotch walnut face with 2 strips of zebrawood and vermillion down the middle. I am asking $2,000. My e mail: tubbers20@yahoo.com

Re: Frazier 'Matchmate' #45

Sad news that Clark passed away on Dec. 29th.

Quote from Blackswamp66:

I’m sorry to say that Clark passed away yesterday. I believe the “Oldest Kid on the Block” was 89. He introduced me to Friendship and took me around to all the different locations from the big bench guns to the shotguns. I got to rifle a barrel with Clark, I believe it was one of those Tom Sawyer moments with me painting the fence. I wish I could rifle another barrel with him. If you are lucky enough to have one of his rifles, take it out this weekend and send Clark a volley.

R.I.P.

Three things you must remember while target shooting. (1) Align the sights carefully. (2) Squeeze the trigger. (3) Say how did it get over there. http://prwarner.wix.com/mlts-masters
