Central Ohio

Good day! My name is Bruce Bogart and my a couple of the boys at the club and I are going to try table shooting. We have a range, and will build one table to perform a test run. I may look up smokinbuck and venture up to Centerburg when they hold a shoot to find out the procedure and flow.  Thanks for letting me participate.

Re: Central Ohio

Welcome Bruce.
Here's the first thing I learned when I set out to try table shooting for the first time:
Adjust the P.O.I. of your rifle to keep the group you're going to shoot from destroying your sighter..!!
I started out just using a small bright orange dot to sight on and create my group. My rifle was sighted to shoot "dead on/center hold", which is not unusual. My 3 shot group promptly obliterated the small dot and I found I had nothing to "sight on" when I put my first "X" target in place.
ENJOY..!!!

Three things you must remember while target shooting. (1) Align the sights carefully. (2) Squeeze the trigger. (3) Say how did it get over there. http://prwarner.wix.com/mlts-masters
