There were 8 shooters for the table shoot today.
Bright sunny day, low 70's and very little breeze.
Scores were:
1. Sterling Martin 4.288"
2. Carl King. 4.341"
3. Brandon Thorp 4.735"
4. Steve Brown 4.910"
5. Don Ross 5.096"
6. Archie Hillard 5.601"
7. Walt Rybka 6.472"
8. Randy Henderson 9.954"
Best X - Sterling Martin - 0.053"
Seemed that everybody was off a little today and we all had a "where did that shot come from" target or two to wreck our string.
Thanks to Dennis Winburn and John Jayne for running the shoot, scoring the targets and bringing the food.
And thanks to the shooters who came out and enjoyed the day shooting and the fellowship for without y'all it doesn't happen.
Blew out a tire on the way out of the range. Thanks to all the guys who stayed to help me change my truck tire and get me going. Good friends are an asset that you can not put a value on. They are priceless.

What was the main thing you attributed the extra 1" in the strings....
Sounds like the weather was fantastic for a great day of shooting but some days just seem to be impossible to score well.
Good shooting anyway fellows. It seems like all of the shooters were on the same page.
You're right about great friends Carl. Best thing in the world to have, especially with a flat tire!!
Big John ..... still waiting on this eye to clear!

Big John,
My only guess on the bad shots was mental lapse. My shot was straight upso I guess I dropped the butt of the rifle when I shot. I know one other shooter told me he failed to clean after the last shot(He always cleans between shots) and he blames his wide shot on that. Not sure about the rest but it seemed to plague everyone.
