21 shooters signed in for the Sunday table shoot. Weather was bright and sunny in the mid 70's. The wind blew right to left and kept the flag straight out most of the shoot.
The competition was intense from the first shot to the last. 6 matches were won with scores from 0.036" to 0.085". Match 7 was won with a 0.049", second place was a 0.069" and third place was a 0.099". 14 of the 21 shooters finished in the money for the day.
When the dust(mud)settled the top 5 shooters were:
1. Carl King 3.142"
2. Dave Krumme 3.392"
3. Don Ross 3.606"
4. Bo Courtney 3.833"
5. Dave Collier 4.170"
Best X Cap Lock - Burton Wright - 0.036"
Best X Flint Lock - Dave Collier - 0.049"
Tom and Dawn Swigart and the Blue Jacket group put on a really great shoot. As always the food was excellent and big thanks to all the folks that made the shoot happen.
Thanks also to the 21 shooters that showed up Sunday. It was a great day of competition and enjoyed by all.
I know they had an Over the Log shoot on Saturday and Will Elliot was the winner but I did not hear what his string was.

I have been informed that I need to make a correction to the shoot results.
Burton shot the best X with an open iron sights flintlock rifle not a caplock.
Not sure then who had the best X with a caplock rifle.

Carl,
Agreed, it was a fine day with fine company and hosts that put on a great show. I shot the best X with a cap gun at .040. See you all at Friendship.

It was indeed a fine shoot.
I'll probably shoot my table shoot agg. Thursday or Friday next week, have 2 small grandkids to keep Monday through Wednesday.
