           If anyone is interested on the American Longrifles Forum in Contemporary Longrifle Collecting is

    I saw that post. Like some others, I wonder if it is a 2 part barrel butt welded to reach the 8' length. I have a fowler with a 6' barrel that is 1 piece and the overall length is 7'4". Scaled the whole thing down to a 20 gauge and got in at 11#.
