Got A Little Flintlock Practice In On Friday

Haven't shot much offhand since early June as I've been working on my chunk gun shooting.  So this past Friday (7/13/14) I decided to grab my .45 caliber Pennsylvaina flintlock - bag and horn, and head to the Range for awhile.  Only took 8 shots as I didn't realize that was all the balls I had with me in my spare bullet-block I carry in my bag.  Anyway, I hadn't shot this particular rifle since I changed out the sights 2-1/2 months ago and I needed to see where she was marking.  Got it back to the workshop and checked my sight center, (was off with the rear sight a tad - which is now centered) and I took a few swipes atop my front sight with my file.  Will test her this coming Wednesday and I'll be sure to take my Range Box and get these new to me (home made - I never buy fixed sights) in good working order.

By the way, my aiming point was what I determined to be a center hold.  I wouldn't mind being a couple inches high at 50 yards.

Three things you must remember while target shooting. (1) Align the sights carefully. (2) Squeeze the trigger. (3) Say how did it get over there. http://prwarner.wix.com/mlts-masters
