Ever glue (epoxy) a scope on a rifle like the Bevel Bros. did?
I ran across an old  copy of Muzzle Blasts where they used a old beater rifle.
Well,  I did the same.
I discovered a rifle I thought was just a fair shooter was in fact, very accurate.
It was a lot of fun.

Re: scope

Yep been there and done that! One time I had a rifle that I was having a hard time finding the ball and patch combo so I scoped to eliminate as many variables as possible. After I solved my problem I remove the scope and browned the barrel and I am still shooting that same rifle. It had really deep rifling square cut but very deep and it still shoots great.

One good shot doesn't make a match but one bad shot dang sure can ruin a match!

Three things you must remember while target shooting. (1) Align the sights carefully. (2) Squeeze the trigger. (3) Say how did it get over there.
