KY State Table Shoot Championship - July 28, 2018

16 shooters showed up today from Illinois, Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky to compete in the KY State Table Shoot Championship in Morehead, KY.

Was a beautiful day, low 80's, low humidity, mostly sunny with a few clouds and hardly any air moving at all.

Top 5 shooters were:

1. Bill Disbro - 2.918"
2. Ken Lutes - 3.141"
3. Sterling Martin - 3.502"
4. Don Ross - 3.911"
5. Bobby Grim - 4.085"

The $100 Best X went to Bill Disbo with 0.049" Bill edged out Dave Krumme's 0.051" X on the last target.

Thanks to Dennis Human for taking care of the range officer's duties, Dennis Winburn and John Jayne for getting everyone signed in, scoring the targets and bringing the beans and cornbread and the brownies. Thanks to KLR for the use of their range.

And a special thanks to the 16 shooters that showed up for a great day of competition and fellowship, it takes you all to make it happen.

Hope to see a lot of you down at Bryan Station next Saturday for their table shoot.

Keep shooting,

Carl

Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

Three things you must remember while target shooting. (1) Align the sights carefully. (2) Squeeze the trigger. (3) Say how did it get over there. http://prwarner.wix.com/mlts-masters
