Thanks Carl for the report.
If it was as hot an muggy there as it has been here in central Missouri you guy's are pretty tough.
Looks like the groups opened up a slight bit. Do you think it was the heat and humidity or the slight breeze from time to time that you mentioned.
Congratulations to the winners anyway. Good shooting!
Still contemplating a shoot here but gonna wait until this weather moderates a little.
Besides that my main most helpers are tied up with other shooting ventures.

Big John,
Lots of water and a nice covered firing line made for tolerable shooting conditions.
The light breeze was not enough to be a factor on group size but I do believe that the high humidity must have some impact on it. Everybody seemed to have issues with wide shots that really looked good when the trigger was pulled.
Hopefully the weather will break here and get back to more normal heat and humidity levels.
Starting July 28 there are 3 table shoots close by scheduled for the next 3 weekends so sure would like to see some better weather to shoot in.
Keep shooting,
Carl

As Don said on Sunday, the weather was "much less miserable than expected" after Saturday (chunk match), which was brutal weather wise . As always, both chunk and table matches were well run and fun with great lunches and lots of friends afterwards.
