I hope that each and everyone of you, are enjoying the celebration of this the anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. When I woke up this morning looked out the window. I thought about what day it was. My thoughts turn to the brave men who conceived wrote and signed the document. Remembering the words of Benjamin Franklin "Gentleman if we do not hang together we shall surely hang! together." at the point the document was signed and sent to the king. There was no turning back treason against the crown, had been committed. A new country was born and it is in their memory that we must stand up and ensure let their desires live on. have a enjoyable holiday.

Happy 4th of July everyone. We have our grandson (5 years old) for this 4th and a week after. I sure hope when he's in school they'll still teach our kids and grand kids how America came about. Seems like at times it just gets kicked under the rug a bit further as our country ages.
