Bryan Station (Central KY) Table Shoot, Sat. March 12

A big thanks to everyone that came out today.  We had a sprinkle during setup, but the day turned out quite nice for the match. Steve was master of ceremonies and general match leader and his wife Carolyn did herself proud with the food, too!  Jeanette took on the demanding task of scoring amazingly quickly on the first try.

We had 12 shooters from Kentucky, West Virginia, and Indiana.  The top top three strings were:
1) Bobby G. -- 2.668"
2) Don R. -- 2.884"
3) Sterling M. -- 5.294"
I would also like to give Carl K. and Bo C. honourable mention, as they were not far off the pace.

For X's the battle between Don and Bobby was epic also.  Don had 4 1st place X's and Boby had 3 (so Don can argue he beat Bobby there), but Bobby had an astounding 5 close 2nd places.  Each of them either won, showed or placed in 8 matches!

Sterling M., however, had the best X of the day at 0.0028 and received a custom spalted maple loading mallet donated by Mitch and Robin Warner.  There was some fierce competition in general in most of the matches, and several otherwise very good shots lost to excellent ones.  Nobody had anything to be ashamed of!

Id also like to thank the "pros" for helping a couple of shooters who were just getting started feel welcome and do their best. And we were very pleased to have Robin come and both participate in our match and offer his unique perspective on how we did things.

As always, we welcome your comments and feedback.  At the end of the day, the purpose is for all the shooters to perform their best and have fun at the same time!

Three things you must remember while target shooting. (1) Align the sights carefully. (2) Squeeze the trigger. (3) Say how did it get over there. http://prwarner.wix.com/mlts-masters
