Chunk gun shooting

My main interest is over the log shooting. I shoot at A. Coon's farm, friendship and the York shoot as often as I can. I'm much interested in everyones ideas and comments.

Welcome! And tell us about your rifle--or rifles? That'll kick start things.

Re: Chunk gun shooting

The rifle I'm shooting now has one of Paul Griffith's barrels, a 1 3/8"x48", 50cal. It has a large Siler flintlock, Davis triggers, Virginia style trgr guard and butt plate. It has a fairly plain maple half stock. It probably weights in at close to 30 lbs.

Three things you must remember while target shooting. (1) Align the sights carefully. (2) Squeeze the trigger. (3) Say how did it get over there. http://prwarner.wix.com/mlts-masters
