Blue Jacket Table Shoot - August 9, 2020 - Xenia, Ohio

Had a beautiful day Sunday, sunshine all day, very little air movement all day and upper 70's to mid 80's as the day progressed.

I guess the nice day got everybody fired up to come out and shoot as there were 30 registered shooters signed in for the shoot. Biggest table shoot I have ever been to for sure.  Shooters came from Ohio, West Virginia, Indiana and Kentucky to enjoy the competition and the fellowship.

When the smoke cleared the top 10 shooters were:
1.   Dave Krumme               3.386"
2.   Steve Heitbrink              3.611"
3.   Bobby Grimm                3.764"
4.   Dave Collier                   4.159"
5.   Carl King                       4.298"
6.   Don Ross                      4.416"
7.   Page Carr                      4.453"
8.   Steve Brown                   5.062"
9.   Sterling Martin               5.277"
10. Bill Disbro                     5.568"

Best X of the Day went to Nick Doll with a 0.034"

If you add up the first place scores for the 10 relays, the string would be 0.945"
6 of the first place scores were less than 0.100", the largest score to take 1st place in a relay was 0.183".
Relay #5 was the relay of the day, 1st place was 0.034", 2nd was 0.091", 3rd was 0.113", 4th was 0.224"
18 of the30 shooters took home some match money.

Thanks to Will Elliot for being the range officer for the shoot. And as always a big thanks to Tom and Dawn Swigert and all of the fine folks from Blue Jacket Muzzleloaders that make the event happen.and thanks to all that brought food for the meal. It was a wonderful day to shoot and there was a lot of great folks to shoot with.

Carl.

Three things you must remember while target shooting. (1) Align the sights carefully. (2) Squeeze the trigger. (3) Say how did it get over there. http://prwarner.wix.com/mlts-masters
