6th Annual Wayne Jenkins Memorial Table Shoot - June 20, 2020

The table shoot yesterday was a huge success.

17 shooters from Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia and Kentucky showed up to enjoy the day and support the cause.

Weather was really nice, not to warm, a few clouds from time to time and an occasional light breeze to keep things comfortable.

After the smoke cleared the results were:

1. Bill Disbro.    2.547"
2. Dave Krumme     2.800"
3. Carl King.      3.074"
4. Bo Courtney.    3.692"
5. Don Ross.       4.305"
6. Dave Collier.   5.232"
7. Bobby Grimm     5.405"
8. George Boyette  5.675"
9. Tony Neinaber   5.724"
10.Sterling Martin 5.858"

Dave Bishop,Curt Gibson,Richard Phelps, Scott Musick, Bill Vahle,Danny Updike and Burton Wright made up the rest of the shooters.

Best X of the day went to Don Ross with a 0.021". Dave Collier was a close second with a 0.033".

Our thanks to Dennis Winburn and John Jane for the beans and cornbread and the brownies and to the Kentucky Long Rifles for the use of their range.

With the great turnout, the Corps will be able to make a $100 donation to the DAV  in Wayne Jenkin's name.

A huge thank you to all that came Saturday to enjoy the shoot and support our cause.

Carl and others .....

Well it looks like things are picking up a little for the shoots you are having. Good shooting guy's!
Things are loosening up a little around here. I wish there was enough interest around to have another shoot at the club. Richard says that most all interest has disappeared at his club also.
Maybe one of these days we'll try it again. Until then you fellows keep the fire a burning.

That was quite an interesting article in the March issue of Muzzle Blast of the shoot in Texas. I wish them well.

Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

Three things you must remember while target shooting. (1) Align the sights carefully. (2) Squeeze the trigger. (3) Say how did it get over there. http://prwarner.wix.com/mlts-masters
