KLR Table Shoot - Today - Morehead, KY

T'was a great day in Kentucky for a table shoot. Started of a little cloudy in the low 50's and ended up sunny in the upper 60's with a little breeze from time to time.

9 shooters signed in and the strings were from 2.642" to 11.968"

Top 5 shooters were:

Carl King 2.642"
Don Ross 3.314"
Bob Grimm 3.627"
Archie Hillard 3.816"
Sterling Martin 3.930"

Best X was shot in the last match with Don Ross barely edging out Bob Grimm by shooting a 0.026" vs Bob's 0.035".

If you add up the 1st place scores for the 10 matches you get a string of 1.302 " Some very good shooting indeed.

Thanks to Randy Henderson for serving as the range officer. Thanks to Dennis Winburn for getting everybody signed in and keeping the score sheets, doing the pay out and providing a pot of brown beans and corn bread. Thanks to John Jane for doing the scoring and the delicious brownies.

It was a very good shoot, some excellent shooting and a good time had by all.

Sounds like you boys "down south" are getting it done. Done very well.

Thanks, Ken.
It was a good day for all. We missed you not being there. Next time maybe.

Mark,

It was just a good day weather wise and everybody was ready to have a good shoot and enjoy the day. We did make it tough on the scorekeeper for sure.

Three things you must remember while target shooting. (1) Align the sights carefully. (2) Squeeze the trigger. (3) Say how did it get over there. http://prwarner.wix.com/mlts-masters
