Allen sure ordered up a splendid day for a shoot. Small turnout and some fine strings. David Krume shot a .0000 spyder for the obvious best X. As usual Miss Julia's lunch was the hit of the day for me after a disappointing string. Thanks once again Allen.

Had a great time Sunday at the Blue Jacket range in Xenia. 17 shooters(tough competition),fantastic weather and as usual more than ample very good food. Best of all was the company. Thanks Dawn & Tom.

Just got home from Allen's and am still trying too cool down. Beautiful calm day but someone left the oven door open and all got baked pretty good. Small but very capable group of shooters were on hand and Carl won with Bill Disbro chasing him hard. Got to admit I made a rookie mistake and started the day with a shot out nipple. A new nipple salvaged what was left of the match and I finished in the middle of the pack. Thanks to Allan and Miss Julia for another great party.

Our club, Ohio Valley Muzzleloading Gun Club, held a 6 shot table shoot today. 18 shooters and I came in 2nd with a 1.963, 3rd was a 2.4+ string, got beat by a 1.903. Weather was breezy and cool to start but sunny about midway through.

The sighter you use for table shooting is going to be to small for log shooting. I haven't shot log in a while but will be this summer and I've made up some sighters that have a 5" center. Don't know yet if they'll work but it's my starting point. My table sighter only has a 2" center. Different types or shapes of sighters will have to be sized accordiningly.

Single day registration has been available. I usually buy a one day registration then just shoot practice targets until I'm ready to shoot for score. Saves half the fee.

I just contacted Colton and he confirmed the $50 shoot fee for the whole week. Daily shoot fees are $25.
